About Us
Ship Bottom Volunteer Fire Company has been saving and protecting lives since 1922. We serve the town of Ship Bottom stretching all the way down to 85th Street with the inclusion of Surf City and Brant Beach.
Overall, we cover about 12 miles of the coastline, and protect approximately 7,000 homes and businesses. Annually, we respond to about 300 calls ranging from fires to car accidents to water rescues. Our stellar training ensures we are ready to respond regardless of the incident.
Our firefighting family of volunteers is an integral part of the community, hosting and participating in safety fairs, trunk or treat events, parades and much more.
